Summary:



Perform in a lead role to provide information to managers and executives, which helps them optimize their clinical, financial and operational results. Responsible for maintaining the EPSi/Costing Decision Support System.



Responsibilities:



Ability to create data source or other infrastructure in order to allow information to be stored and reported on in an efficient manner.Assists the Director of Business Intelligence System in managing the EPSi/Costing application. This includes creating and maintaining extracts, monitoring processing and resolving issues, building and maintaining data elements and structures for reporting, and building and maintaining appropriate security access.Serves as a resource for training and consultation to system wide customers on the use of patient level data in existing clinical or financial reporting.Ensures data integrity by vetting information and reconciling with source system. This includes creating audit processes as needed.Initiates new processes or reports which makes reporting more efficient and accurate. Creates datasets, automated reporting or dashboards to assist customers in obtaining the information they request utilizing the appropriate tools.

Required Work Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years experience in a healthcare setting, with experience in finance, business intelligence, or clinical systems and knowledge of Strata's EPSi or other costing systems. A high level of expertise with SQL or other database / analytics software is required. Other Information: Additional Education Info: Business, Finance, IT or Healthcare related field.
