Summary:



Oversees, coordinates and participates in the planning, analysis and formation of the Memorial Cancer Institute quality assurance and performance improvement program while promoting a continuous improvement culture to support clinical performance and outcomes. Ensures Agency meets state and federal regulatory requirements and maintains accreditation standards.



Responsibilities:



Submits Department reports with goals and objectives for quarterly Cancer Committees.May collect and assess data to identify quality trends or actual sources of risk to patients and employees. Collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams and committees with respect to quality outcomes.Stays up-to-date of regulatory changes and provides appropriate communication and guidance to staff and leadership of regulatory compliance and documentation.Completes, maintains and submits reports to leadership and governing bodies as required by all regulatory agencies.Leads and Participates in regulatory survey preparation ensuring survey readiness and provides information and support during surveys.
