The Operational Excellence Manager is responsible for KPI reporting for all production departments, leading Operational Excellence (OpX) weekly meetings, and capital projects submittal and spend tracking for our Columbia plant.
Essential Functions
Lead positive safety culture; ensure safety rules/ practices are understood and followed.
Maintain KPI tracking for waste and OEE performance for all production departments: Extrusion, Tower, L&G, and Antenna.
Create capital spend budgets for the facility and report out monthly/quarterly on spending to ensure project budgets and timelines are meet.
Track and monitor variances by department and work with the operations leaders to correct issues.
Create executive reports on performance on a monthly and quarterly basis showing trends across all departments in operational performance.
Essential audits on standards with the finance team to ensure accurate work order data is always available.
Work with cross functional departments to resolve performance and quality issues.

Secondary Functions
Develop and implement Power BI reports on capital and overhead spending, labor, OEE, waste, uptime, down time, and output performance by department.
Assist with root cause analysis on issues, and support the corrective actions with a cross functional team
Position Specifications
Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Required Skills & Experience:
Data cleaning and preparation
Data analysis and exploration
Statistical knowledge
Creating dashboards and reporting
Strong collaboration skills within department and with other internal customers
Manufacturing environment: not uniformly heated / cooled, exposure to dust/ fumes
PPE: steel-toed footwear, hearing protection, safety glasses, others as required by task
Schedule: Monday-Friday day shift, occasional overtime
