Kleinfelder's Office located in Redmond, WA is currently seeking a Project Delivery Manager (PDM) with experience in alternative delivery transportation projects. This is a flex position.

The PDM is directly responsible for the management and coordination of project quality plans, including performing Quality Assurance (QA) reviews of completed design deliverables. In addition, the PDM will assist the Project Manager (PM) in monitoring and reporting the financial and on-time performance of projects.

The PDM is responsible for:

• Managing Quality Assurance (QA) reviews by independently monitoring the Quality Control (QC) process by examining the QC documents for compliance to the project quality plan.


• Effectively communicating any findings from the QA reviews to the design team, and validate the subsequent responses are effective and close each finding.


• Reporting directly to the DBPM the status of the QA process.


• Assist the PM in evaluating and reporting project schedule performance and financial metrics in reports and in formal presentations to company management.

The qualified candidate will:

• Be a Washington Licensed Professional Engineer.


• Have Civil Engineering Degree


• Have 15+ years of project related experience


• Have a minimum of 5+ years coordination/supervisory experience


• Possess excellent communications skills and the ability to identify and communicate - orally and in writing - with project teams and company management


• Have the ability to identify potential projects/clients, and market our services


• Possess a working knowledge of the current software programs utilized in the industry, including ProjectWise and Bluebeam.

The PDM shall perform the following services to include, but not limited to:

• Lead and direct project Design Quality Assurance efforts in accordance with WSDOT’s Design-Build quality standards.


• Developing and publishing project QA/QC Plans


• Conducting audits in validation of the QC Plan


• Confirm all quality documentation is uploaded to the project Document Management System


• Prepare Non-Conformance Reports when appropriate and make recommendations for resolution


• Assist Kleinfelder’s design manager in tracking labor costs and schedule conformance, developing earned value reports for progress payments from the Client, and administering change order control.


• Monitor documentation for laboratory testing and track on-time delivery of results.

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Washington Pay Transparency Law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary range: $112,438-$174,886/year..
