Handles all incoming and outgoing ground and freight shipments
Schedules freight pick ups
Handles International shipments
Must be forklift certified
Maintain shipment tracking log
Packing of shipments / loading molds onto pallet / into crate and banding down
Update & maintain UPS / FedEx address book
Additional duties include but not limited to
Assist with laser engraving of components
Secondary operations of molded parts and steel components
Help support and maintain plant 6S program
Creating and labeling of incoming raw plastic materials
Transporting of molds from one department to the other
Distribute weekly tooling back log report
Distribute monthly machine maintenance record
General filing
Skills and requirements
Minimum 3 years of shipping and receiving experience required
Forklift certified / experience required
UPS, FEDEX experience
Ground shipments and freight shipments experience
Some international shipping preferred
Communication skills
Interpersonal skills
Taking initiative and being autonomous to perform tasks
Oversee shipping and receiving area
Ability to multitask
Lean experience preferred
Flexible schedule
Availability for overtime as needed
Ability to lift 40lbs
Schedule: Monday - Friday from 7 AM - 3:30 PM
