About the job



Our Richmond manufacturing facility is adding a brand-new 2nd shift Quality Technician to our lineup, and we'd like to hear from you! We are seeking an experienced technician to join us, reporting to the Quality Manager for the Richmond factory.


As a part of the team, you will:

  • Develop quality objectives complementary to corporate and PG goals and implements plans and strategies to achieve those objectives.
  • Direct and perform all operations-related activities to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements imposed by codes and standards used in the supply of our product lines (including ASME, ABS, PED, 3A and ISO 9001 and other applicable ones).
  • Coordinate and review calibration of assets for Richmond Operations.
  • Support welding processes and inspection methods
  • Coordinate and support customer inspection, customer audits and quality assurance requests
  • Plan, review and complete CI duties for testing and registration with National Board to assure the quality of products or components.
  • Coordinate and drive continuous improvement activities or projects addressing quality related problems and improvements.
  • Perform audits of key personnel in the organization as related to quality and job requirements.



What you know



You have a high school diploma or GED, and:

  • Use of inspection procedures, product testing and working knowledge of ASME code requirements.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma tools and methodologies, Green Belt Certification preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience working with Heat exchangers and Fluid handling products a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Jeeves software systems, Microsoft tools.


High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Candidates interested in company-provided GED program will be considered.
