Job Description:

The Scheduler is responsible for developing and executing the production master schedule for different Loparex sites in the Americas region, balancing demand and supply, and providing guidance when schedule conflicts arise.


JOB SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably in a related field (e.g. Supply Chain, Business or Technical field).
  • Minimum of three years of scheduling experience, preferably for a manufacturing company.
  • APICS or related professional certification preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office®. SAP experience (with IBP module) is highly desirable.
  • Highly organized with an ability to lead small project teams. Project management experience or exposure preferred.
  • Results oriented with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with ability to challenge the status quo.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills to lead cross- functional collaboration initiatives.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety for oneself and coworkers.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Create and monitor the production schedule in accordance with company procedures and regulations to ensure orders are delivered on time to customers.
  • Balance operational efficiencies with customer requirements.
  • Manage and resolve disputes and expedites, providing quick responses to production options.
  • Facilitate and solve potential schedule conflicts with meeting schedule reequipments within the supply chain as well as across other functional business departments.
  • Identify and perform root-cause analysis to supply chain related matters and provide feedback.
  • Maintain accurate material master system planning parameters, including MOQ, lead time, or BOM.
  • Prepare regular dashboards to highlight performance.
  • Collaborate with buyers to ensure raw material requirement are clearly communicated.
  • Keeps current with Loparex Supply Chain policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to extract and maximize value.

SECONDARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and perform root-cause analyses and provide data-driven analyses, reports, and recommendations to solve complex problems and drive continuous improvement.
  • Track and report key functional metrics to measure performance.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of systems, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient processes and accurate documentation.
  • Occasional travel required.
