As a Planning Analyst at ARETUM, you will be responsible for conducting analysis, developing plans, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Providing planning support, operational research, project management, planning and facilitating meetings and correspondence, coordinating planning efforts, and developing and writing plans using the FEMA Six-Step Planning Process.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather information and provide recommendations.
• Develop and maintain detailed plans and schedules to support project execution.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or areas for improvement.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.

Requirements

• 5+ years working on planning-related projects
• A sound understanding of emergency management response programs and FEMA’s role in coordinating the federal response to support state and local partners
• Ability to effectively coordinate and collaborate with planning partners or other multi-disciplinary teams
• Ability to receive a public trust suitability prior to beginning work on the project

Preferred

• Existing DHS or FEMA Entry on Duty suitability
• Experience working in insurance or national security related field
• Experience in federal government consulting
• Experience in IT, cybersecurity, or national security related field
• Familiarity with Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/FEMA programs or initiatives
