ARETUM is seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team as a Business Analyst/Scrum Master. As a Business Analyst/Scrum Master at ARETUM, you will be responsible for capturing detailed business requirements and facilitating the Agile development process as a Scrum Master. You will work closely with the development team, stakeholders, and product owners to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Capture detailed business requirements, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria in JIRA
• Work with Product Owner/System Owner, Development, UX/UI, QA team, and Subject Matter Experts to ensure alignment and proper interpretation of complex functional requirements.
• Ensure end-to-end requirements traceability, mapping user stories to software test cases, applicable business processes, wireframes, and UX comps.
• Leverage strong written and verbal communication skills to drive requirements sessions in a large setting including Product Owners, Subject Matter Experts, Project Manager, Architect, Team Leads, and client personnel.
• Collaborate with team members, share knowledge, and continuously improve business analysis efforts, identify and close gaps.
• Document functional specifications, traceability matrices, process flow diagrams, wireframes, meeting agenda, meeting minutes, and other supporting artifacts.
• Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Grooming, Review, and Retrospective sessions, and give application demo to the Product Owners/Subject Matter Experts.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must have an active Secret security clearance.
• Must have a CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Must have an Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM) OR Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) certification.
• Must have a bachelor's degree in relevant field and six (6) years of directly relevant experience in the following areas:
• Documentation of business and functional requirements.
• Web-based software development involving complex workflows.
• Ability to elicit, create, and analyze functional and non-functional requirements.
• Organizing and maintaining product and sprint backlogs.
• Presenting detailed summaries of progress and updates.
• Facilitate and drive group discussions to build shared understanding of software requirements.
• Foster solid working relationships with senior-level management, subject matter experts, and customers.
• Mentoring staff on functional expertise and provide peer reviews of deliverables for other product lines.
• Ability to lead change and implement new strategies company-wide.
• Ability to work independently and/or apart of a dynamic multi-functional team.
• Jira and Confluence tools.
• Highly effective proficiency in written and verbal communication.
• Must have 3+ years of experience working in an Agile environment, with demonstrated ability to clearly articulate user stories and conditions of satisfaction to development teams.
• Strongly preferred experience in supporting a U.S. Military, Federal or Government client and customer.
