On the Enterprise Modeling Team reporting to the Director Data Architect, you will support projects including Customer, Stay, Marketing, and Pricing, to name a few.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:


  • Collect requirements and modeling data (conceptual, logical, and physical) to support all data needs across multiple technologies within Hilton's Enterprise Data Environment.
  • Understand data relationships and design data models that reflect these relationships and facilitate loading and querying the data while ensuring optimum performance.
  • Implement and ensure standards for data naming conventions to promote consistency and reuse of data models.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Work with Business Analysts, other Data Architects, Software Developers, and DBAs to achieve project objectives. Team meetings are scheduled and led by a demand manager.

What projects you will take ownership of:

  • Float across all EAD projects providing modeling artifacts where needed and once all modeling artifacts are delivered, move to the next project.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:


  • Five (5) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • Four (4) years of experience designing relational and dimensional data models in common toolsets such as Erwin, ER Studio, Oracle SQL Data Modeler, or PowerDesigner
  • Four (4) years of experience in Data Warehouse and/or Transactional technology such as ETL tools, BI, and Analytic datasets
  • Experience collecting requirements for data models for a large enterprise environment
  • Experience with data organizational change procedures and deployment of database changes
  • Travel up to 10%

It would be useful if you have:


  • Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience
  • Seven (7) + years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
