Intern, Engineering - Controls / Electrical at Coherent Corp. in Granby, Connecticut

Job Description:

We are seeking a college summer intern at our East Granby CT location for a Twelve-week assignments / projects! The Controls/ Electrical intern will assist with complete controls upgrade of fiber manufacturing equipment, enabling state-of-the-art operations. Responsibilities include:

• Hands-on electrical wiring
• Assembly of electrical and controls components
• Software troubleshooting
• Interface with matrixed team of mechanical, controls and process engineers

• Engineering students welcome! Must have some course work in engineering field
• Willing to work in labs / clean room environment, manufacturing environment

All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards.
