Fabrication Operator at Coherent Corp. in Easton, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

All Operators will be responsible for the following job functions:

• Preparation of raw materials, seeds, and hot zone components for crystal growth. Monitors and adjusts temperature, pressure, power and other process parameters.
• Operation of crystal growth, annealing, vacuum and other related technological equipment.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and directives.
• Maintaining order and cleanliness in the crystal growth and charge preparations areas.
• Participation in the equipment maintenance programs.
• Participation in other duties as assigned.

• 1-2 years' experience preferred in a production environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with networked PC based computer systems. (Microsoft Office and Outlook)
• Must be technically inclined with mechanical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and procedures while offering suggestions for continuous improvement

This job requires that an individual come into contact with raw materials, products, equipment / machines, software or technology controlled by the Export Administration Regulations or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations. The job must be filled by a U.S. person or a person for whom a valid export control exception has been obtained, or is not required, from the U.S. Government.
