Job Description:

We are seeking a college summer intern in our Newark, DE facility. This college intern will provide manufacturing support for scheduling and administering work orders in our Oracle ERP and Cumulus MES systems. Activities will include:


  • Hands-on, shop floor production tracking along with processing WIP transactions via computer.
  • Utilizing spreadsheets and statistical software to run weekly and monthly analysis and reports
  • Additional SQL projects as needed


Education & Experience

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Management, Management Information Systems or related field
  • SQL database experience. Generate special queries and reports
  • MS-Access database experience
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and equipment
  • Due to ITAR compliance, this position requires candidates to be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Protected Individual per 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)

  • Strong problem solving and business analysis background
  • Ability to generate and develop creative solutions to problems
  • Keen interest in quickly learning and applying new skills
  • Ability to achieve results independently or working in a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A desire to experience working on the shop floor and seeing how shop floor activities are managed using business software tools (ERP, MRP, MES, PLM systems).

  • Office and Shop floor

Physical Requirements

  • Required to frequently lift/push/pull a minimum of 20 lbs
  • Must be able to sit, bend, squat and walk about facility
  • Depending on project assignment, may be required to walk/stand for majority of day
