Intern, Supply Chain at Coherent Corp. in Granby, Connecticut

Job Description:

We are seeking a college summer intern at our East Granby CT location for a twelve-week assignment / projects in our Supply Chain Department. Projects in sales, inventory and operations planning process (SIOP) documentation and expansion may include:

• Customer forecast automation
• Finished Good safety stock setting automation
• Finished good pull system analysis
• Incorporate AI into our SIOP activities
• Help document key SIOP (sales, inventory and operations planning) activities within the site.
• Analyze inventory levels and opportunities for reduction

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field of study
• AI experience within the supply chain environment preferred
• Strong computer and analytical background
• Ability to manage and manipulate data using excel to find trends that will enable the individual to create forecasts, safety stocks, minimum and maximum levels
