Russell Tobin is currently hiring a ProjectEstimator for a leading manufacturer of high-quality interior finish products for the commercial and high-end residential markets in Long Island City, NY. Our client specializes in the manufacturing and installation of high-quality, customizable window treatments and acoustical wall and ceiling panels working directly with top architectural firms, designers, and construction firms. This position requires a high level of organization and attention to detail to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of our bidding process. The ideal candidate will have to be self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently and efficiently. It is highly preferred for applicants to know how to accurately read and understand construction plan sets and be able to interpret and analyze plan details.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
architectural drawings and conduct a comprehensive assessment of necessary materials.
project costs in alignment with requirements.
and assess quotations from various subcontractors or suppliers.
estimates encompassing materials and expenses pertinent to the project.
bids from suppliers and contractors.
and deliver proposals to relevant stakeholders.
with clients to address inquiries, discuss pricing, and refine project particulars.
and finalize project contracts with clients.
enduring partnerships with company vendors and clientele.
prepared estimates to management and other invested parties.
