ECS is seeking a Military Operations Specialist/ US Air Force (DARPA) to work in our Arlington, VA office. Please Note:

Anticipate start is early May 2024.


ECS is preparing to provide critical support to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DAPRA), specifically to the Director's Office (DIRO). Come join our team to help maintain the technological superiority of the U.S. military.


This billet is in direct support of the DARPA Front Office. Candidate needs to provide the highest level of professional support.


Duties will include serving as a liaison between offices and expect upon US Air Force operational capabilities, needs, and organization.



Required Skills:

• 
  Active DoD Top Secret security clearance required.
  
• 
  US Citizenship required per contract.
  
• 10+ Years experience with United States Air Force operations.
• Demonstrated ability to understand the organizational culture and structure, translate warfighter needs, articulate capability gaps, and be able to discuss relevant current and projected Acquisition Programs.
• Familiarity with the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS).
• Familiarity with common Air Force service-specific web functions/use.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task and respond to quick turn-around requests
• Must have good rapport at dealing with the public, customer service expertise, excellent oral/written communication skills, and excellent organizational & time-management skills.

Desired Skills:

• 10+ years of DoD or Military Service experience.
• Experience as a staff officer within Headquarters Department of Defense; Military Service, or Combatant Command.
• Working knowledge of DARPA policies and procedures highly desirable.
• Working knowledge of DoD policies and procedures highly desirable.
• DoD experience highly desirable.
