Description: JDP is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for a Food Service client in Phoenix, AZ. The Sales Manager will take a proactive role in leading sales growth within the organization and targeted accounts. The candidate will have a hunter mentality with prior broker experience. They will be calling on distributor and independent accounts/local chains or regional accounts.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and execution of annual business development plan
Customer goals and strategies
Sales deliverable targets
Research and development project management
Manage marketing and promotional ideas, opportunities and implementation to targets accounts
Execute goal selling/developing the targeted accounts efficiently and economically
Administration of promotional budgets
Control administrative and travel expenses
Communicate effectively and actively across all business lines
Establish ongoing relationships with customer key decision makers
Develop effective business relationships at the decision make level
Plan a strategy, advise corporate on new product opportunities, and develop plans for under developing customers
Gather and analyze data regarding customer preference, market condition etc to plan sales growth
Attend cross-regional and nation food shows, conferences seminars
Requirements:
4+ years in foodservice sales position
MUST demonstrate hunter style mentality
Broker experience needed
Demonstrate increasing level of opportunity
Distributor management experience is a plus
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to make effective sales presentations
Excellent organizational skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office
