Our client is a leading non-asset-based 3PL provider offering comprehensive supply chain solutions. They leverage their extensive network of carriers and partners to deliver innovative and cost-effective logistics services to their clients.


Job Summary:


We are seeking an energetic strategic leader to join our team as Senior Director, Supply Chain Services. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our supply chain operations, and customer logistics solutions while driving growth, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients.


Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of strategic plans for our supply chain services, including managed transportation, 4PL solutions, and international logistics.


• Develop and manage a team of talented professionals across transportation and value-added services.


• Oversee carrier relationship management, ensuring we secure the best rates, capacity, and service levels for our clients.


• Implement and manage 4PL solutions, integrating various logistics providers to optimize client supply chains.


• Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency, cost reduction, and service quality across all transportation modes (domestic and international).


• Manage and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their unique needs and exceeding their expectations.


• Develop and implement robust performance metrics (KPIs) to track progress and measure success.


• Stay abreast of industry trends and identify new technologies and solutions to enhance our service offerings.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the supply chain and logistics industry, with a proven track record of success in leadership roles.


• Strong understanding of managed transportation services, including carrier selection, contract negotiation, and performance management.


• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing 4PL solutions, integrating various logistics providers to optimize complex supply chains.


• Extensive experience in international logistics, including customs brokerage, global trade compliance, and international freight forwarding.


• Proven ability to develop and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.


• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
