3M is seeking an Electrician located in Little Rock, AR. This position is a FULL-TIME position.

Job Description:  

Responsibilities: 

• Support manufacturing operations in electrical controls, programming, software, and application support to automation, robotics, vision, motion control, PLC and SCADA systems


• Identify, recommend, and implement ideas in manufacturing area of responsibility to improve;
  - Product cost, service, and quality
  - Process safety and health performance with reduction of overall risk to the factory
  - Environmental performance with emphasis on waste reduction
  - Equipment reliability.


• Lead and implement improvement projects.

Basic:

• Minimum 2 (two) years of industrial electrical, controls, vision and/or automation experience or, in lieu of experience, a technical diploma or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in Industrial Electricity/Controls from an accredited institution.

Desired:

• Journeyman Electrician.


• Experience in controls and automation systems design


• Effective "Hands On" techniques


• Ability to analyze, problem solve and implement solutions.


• Works well on cross-functional teams in a continuous improvement (LEAN) environment.


• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
