Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, Ascend Therapeutics, you will be part of a collaborative and innovative community of like-minded specialists connected by mutual respect, a caring culture. Key role responsibilities include:
  • Lead strategy, development, and execution for Consumer and Health Care Provider (HCP) digital and traditional marketing initiatives across the company's portfolio, including agency management, annual strategic, tactical, and operating plan, and day-to-day marketing activities.
  • Lead omnichannel Consumer & HCP engagement strategy and execution to drive product activation and ensure optimal optimized marketing mix.
  • Design and execute creative and impactful B2C marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital advertising, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and more.
  • Lead digital and social patient awareness and engagement strategy and tactical execution inclusive of sharing patient experiences.
  • Lead end-to-end campaign planning and execution, including account-based marketing, lead generation, CRM setup, etc. Developing compelling messaging and content as well as choosing the right digital executions that drive engagement and lead generation.
  • Build systems for driving SQL's and MQL's and drive aggressive growth to establish our CRM approach.
  • Develop and execute lead nurturing workflows that guide prospects through the customer journey, delivering relevant content and maintaining engagement until conversion.
  • Optimize landing pages, forms, and other touchpoints to maximize lead conversion rates. Implement A/B testing and other tactics to continually improve campaign performance.
  • Develop thought leadership content, case studies, and success stories that demonstrate the impact of our offerings.
  • Key areas of digital focus include the following: ecommerce platform, product websites, marketing CRM management, EHRs, telehealth, and congress support, and sales CRM integration.
  • Collaboration with key internal stakeholders including Marketing team, Commercial Analytics/Insights, Sales & Sales Operations, MRC and Finance.
  • Plan and execute targeted congresses, events, and webinars to showcase our solution and position our company as an industry leader.
  • Plan and implement targeted social, influencer, email, and digital marketing campaigns aligned with brand objectives across diverse channels such as web, SEO/SEM, PPC, retargeting, and paid social.
  • Collaborate with the team to create ads and landing pages, taking a creative lead in directing digital campaigns while minimizing outsourcing.
  • Measure and report on the performance of both digital and traditional marketing initiatives, evaluating outcomes against established goals including ROI and KPIs.
  • Identify and analyze digital trends and insights, optimizing expenditure and performance based on thorough analysis.
  • Conduct, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests to refine strategies and enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, offering thought leadership and perspective for adoption where fitting.
  • Manage SEM campaigns and bid strategies and other day-to-day activities including launching and optimizing search/display and paid social ad campaigns, determining and prioritizing keyword building, ad copy, landing page and bid optimization, monitoring spend and performance levels relative to budgets and expected KPI's.
  • Leverage SEM campaign data and website analytic packages including Google Analytics and Tableau to make improvements and informed decisions about performance.
  • Develop and build out SEO efforts for the branded and ecommerce websites that support both sides of our business, patient marketing and commercial.
  • Manage campaign expenses, stay on budget and estimate monthly spend.
  • Report campaign performance weekly by using dashboards and analytics tools.
  • Identify growth opportunities, test hypotheses, and scale winning tests to improve SEM traffic productivity and improve efficiency of the channel.

Qualification and Position Requirements:
  • BS degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience working with HCP and Consumer marketing preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Minimum 5- 7 years of experience working with digital marketing preferably in the consumer or digital health industry.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing social, email and digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, Google Ad Words, and display advertising.
  • Google Ads certified (past or present)
  • Solid knowledge of analytic tools and ad-serving tools necessary for campaign set-up and reporting
  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, including LinkedIn, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, email marketing tools, CRM and marketing automation systems.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas for consumer engagement.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Strong creative and analytical mindset, balancing strategic thinking with a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, preparation, and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across different audiences and varying levels of the organization. Superior writing and editing skills.
  • Demonstrated experience within a fast-paced, deadline and results focused environment where abilities to multi-task, be highly flexible, and influence high standards within and across teams is essential.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines and KPI objectives that move the business forward.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, collaborative fast-paced environments.
  • Must be familiar with MEDICAL, REGULATORY and LEGAL promotional review process for prescription products.
