Senior Media Relations Manager - $170k to $200k - NYC (Hybrid)
One of the world's largest and most respected financial institutions is currently recruiting for a Senior Media Relations Manager, working within the Public Policy and Corporate Responsibility team. You will manage the delivery of external communications activity across a range of businesses, alongside supporting the creation and delivery of the external communications strategy and plan.
What will you be doing?
Global media strategy for the company's Corporate and Investment Bank business
Partnerships with key editors, influencers and columnists
Developing a comprehensive external communications plan which aligns to the business strategy
Leading strategic media meetings with company spokespeople
Evaluating media coverage relating to Corporate and Investment Bank businesses as well as assisting with quarterly coverage reports for the business
What skills do you need?
PR experience, gained either in a PR agency or in-house environment
Relationships with news outlets - primarily Bloomberg, the WSJ, Reuters and the Financial Times
Experience working in financial services
Working knowledge of US national, regional and trade media
Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Economics, or a closely related field is preferred
Delivering and executing creative campaigns and press office activity to build advocacy and reputation
The role is paying circa $170k - $200k plus excellent package.
