Position Title - Solutions Architect - Microservices
Start Date: May 6th ideally!
Duration: 6 month Contract to hire
Location: Cincinnati, OH- 2x a week onsite
Pay Rate: $70-90/hr BUT (OPEN TO MARKET RATE)
Must Have Requirements:
3-5 years of experience within Software Design/Development
2+ years of experience as an Architect (developing scalable Microservices from scratch)
2+ years of cloud experience (Azure preferred but will accept GCP/AWS
Previous experience working on internet scale solutions
Day to Day
An employer is seeking a Solutions Architect to sit in Cincinnati, OH. This person will be involved in the buildout of the client's new Point of Sale platform which will be modernizing the purchasing experience for over 11million people. The Architect will be joining a team of 8 other Architects and a larger team of 200 people supporting this project and will need to be comfortable participating in the application technical design process. He/she will collaborate with Development, Product Management, Architect, Information Security and Infrastructure teams to deliver the product at hand. Experience with, and an understanding of, how an entire system scales is imperative to the success of this individual as this person will be involved in the enhancement, total replacement and scaling of said system. The Architect will need to have an eagerness to learn, adapt and communicate with others.
