Your Key Responsibilities
Responsible for supervising the BU Controlling Team and the assigned processes
Review and supervision of new project quotations in form of product profitability calculations, and giving guidance on the profitability for future projects
Supervising the creation of standard and ad hoc reports across different business units, analysis and interpretation of P&L and sales forecasts and advising management with the right course of action
Supervision and assessment forecasts in coordination with other departments, plant segments and the supervisor, derivation of recommendations for action from the forecasts
Preparation of the strategy dialogue, definition of the strategic framework and derivation of general conditions for budget planning and discussion with BD management
Monitoring of goal achievement of the business division and derivation of independently give recommendations for action in case of deviation and drive improvement measures
Management of process and tool optimizations, creation of tools, creation of training documents and work instructions as well as the definition of new processes and process changes as well as development of new standards and work instructions
Review and give guidance to the accounting team on divisional impacts (e.g. pricing/rebate accruals, warranty claims, IC billing of project cost, evaluation of other financial proceedings, etc.)
Disciplinary management (including, but not limited to: Coordination of the assigned employees and tasks, operational planning of the assigned employees, selection of new employees, performing employee interviews, etc.)
Set and follow up on targets set for working capital with focus on inventories as well as overdue receivables
Monitoring of market developments and current events which are directly correlated to your area of business to ensure consideration within forecasts relative to risks and opportunities
Your Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in either Accounting, Finance or Engineering
Minimum of ten (10) years working experience in a similar field with deep financial / business understanding
Must be a creative hands-on individual who has excellent communication, presentation, leadership and interpersonal skills at the highest level of the organization
Well developed problem-solving skills, solid organizational skills and has demonstrated the ability to be self-directed and effectively relate to all levels of an organization
Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
Qualified candidates must have the ability to maintain confidentiality
Experience with SAP
Work under pressure in Budget times and month-end
Ability to travel as needed

Preferred:
Master's Degree or MBA
Experience with leading and managing a team
