Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager

The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing aggressive growth strategies and an action plan to enhance NVIDIA's opportunity. The Senior Account Manager will manage a sales teams across IT and business unit groups that will include a "sell-to, sell-with and sell-through" model. They will have booking and expense responsibilities and be accountable for solid long-term business decisions (including people development, customer loyalty, sell-through channel strategy and balancing short-term business issues within NVIDIA against long-term goals)!

The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for annual revenue portfolio will work closely with a Customer Solutions Architect and the NVIDIA Channel organization. This role will have direct responsibility for the product strategy and execution and as such, they will partner with NVIDIA engineering to formulate and drive an all-encompassing focus across the full solution lifecycle.

What you'll be doing:


  • Enterprise West Area and Operation Strategy & Execution Priorities - Identifying, developing and implementing key initiatives that align with the Enterprise West Area and Operation Strategy & Execution Priorities


  • Go to Market Sales Model - Leading /coaching teams through transformation with Account Planning/Opportunity Identification, Business Relevant / Customer Value Selling, Business Disciplines, Challenger Sales Strategy.


  • Financial Performance - Exceeding bookings goal (by geography, architecture and vertical), managing opex goal, and maintaining forecast accuracy; Providing visibility and in depth knowledge into numbers (customer insights, macro/micro trends, consumption models).


  • Building a Winning Capability and Leading Change - Strategically leading and influencing your own team along with an integrated cross-functional teams including the Customer Value Acceleration Team, Services, Partners, Engineering, Marketing, and others. Focusing on contributing to the long term success of Enterprise West and US Enterprise by being a collaborative leader amongst your peers. Consistently striving to improve and reinvent yourself.


  • National travel is required.



What we need to see:

  • BA degree - MBA (or equivalent experience)


  • 15+ years of management roles selling solutions to senior executives at named accounts.


  • Demonstrated track record managing significant revenue responsibility and or profit/loss center and overachieving targets to meet stretch goals


  • Must provide specific examples of closing large, strategic deals to global customers.


  • Understanding a broad range of NVIDIA technologies.


  • Business Development and strategy experience required.


  • Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership, think strategically and effectively communicate vision (both written and verbal) and influence cross-functionally.

  • Strong executive presence, polish, and political savvy. Strong leadership skills in coaching and developing a sales team


  • Excellent communication skills and ability to persuade -- using simple communications that convey complex concepts in a compelling, concise, and creative way.


  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead in a matrix-managed team culture.


  • Experience with financial services hardware, software and electronics is a plus.

The cash compensation range is 248,000 USD - 391,000 USD, with 85% paid through base salary and 15% variable compensation. Your cash compensation will be determined based on your location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions.
