NOTICE OF VACANCY POSITION: Director of Building and Grounds QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must be able to: Oversee day-to-day operations of our facilities and physical plant. Collaborate with administration and contractors on capital improvement projects. Utilize your in-depth knowledge of building projects to manage and drive successful initiatives. Have proven experience in building and grounds management. At least five years of experience in Facilities Management and/or related fields (preferred). Ability to supervise custodial/ maintenance staff. Understanding of PA state regulatory building codes for schools (preferred) Knowledge of HVAC, refrigerant recovery, carpentry, masonry, key control, locks, building security, electric systems including power distribution, pneumatics, plumbing, asbestos regulations, fire suppression systems and local ordinances (preferred). Expertise in institutional floor care, carpet cleaning and use of proper chemicals for cleaning specifically in school setting and knowledge of storage of chemicals. Effective communication and supervisory skills/excellent computer skills. SALARY: $65,000-$80,000 (offer commensurate upon experience) CONTACT: Mr. Leonard A. Rich DEADLINE: April 30, 2024.
