Job Description:
- Assist with picker placement and coordinate manpower according to workflow.
- Screen special instructions on pick tickets, highlighting all pertinent information.
- Monitor order status to assure timely wave creation and all cut-off times are met.
- Assign alternate locations to items not found.
- Adjust quantity and location changes during confirmation process.
- Handle backorder, order cancellation and carrier changes by sales people.
- Monitor picker productivity and offer suggestions for improvement.
- Sort and assign pick tickets by zone while scanning each ticket to Excel spreadsheet.
- Maintain "Tour Ready" clean and safe work area at all times.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Regular attendance is an essential function of the Pick Desk Clerk position
Physical Requirements:
- The ability to lift up to 70 pounds is required along with being able to bend, stoop, stand, walk and twist as needed to perform the job.
