The Vice President of Commercial Strategy will be responsible for building and evolving D&B's Commercial Strategy, ensuring we are effectively orchestrating people, process and technology across the ecosystem. In addition, the Vice President of Commercial Strategy will be responsible for owning the evolution of our Growth Strategy framework, to include managing our growth segment strategies and associated metrics, processes and broader infrastructure. By collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Product and Operations, this leader will leverage a customer-360 strategy to ensure we are executing the right go-to-market strategies to engage our customers effectively and help them meet their business objectives.

Essential Key Responsibilities

  • In concert with the SVP, Commercial Operations & Marketing, develop and drive D&B's core commercial strategy to drive North America's growth objectives.
  • In line with key business unit priorities, evolve D&B's Growth Strategy framework by developing GTM strategies within each growth segment aligned to customer outcomes and involve orchestration across all commercial functions.
  • Evolve and maintain the operating cadence and rigor across the commercial ecosystem to ensure key performance metrics including forecast accuracy, funnel analysis and pipeline management are managed and met.
  • Build a framework to drive the development of solution packaging strategies, to include a generic capabilities map to support the D&B ecosystem of solutions. Build, develop and manage a world-class, inclusive, diverse, high-performing team by supporting a strong remote culture, effectively engaging in team strategy sessions and more.
  • Develop and maintain a customer intelligence database and partner with Sales and Marketing teams to develop customer segmentation strategies considering a holistic, ecosystem strategy. Build, influence and drive change across processes, policies and technologies that optimize the path for supporting overall revenue growth.
  • Lead cross-functional, cross-product commercial strategy and operations projects and processes, partnering with Sales, Solutions Consulting, Product and Marketing In concert with the SVP, Commercial Operations & Marketing, lead the annual planning process for the Commercial Strategy, partnering with Sales, Segment leaders, Product, Operations and Marketing.
  • Education/Experience and Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Significant professional experience of increasing responsibilities across GTM strategy, operations, and planning.
  • 15+ years' experience required.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling GTM organizations of varying sizes and maturity.
  • Ability to provide business critical insights using analytics to ensure successful execution of go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong understanding of product, product marketing, pricing strategies, and sales enablement.
  • Excellent analytics and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to present to senior executives and demonstrate strong communication with the management team.
