Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Writer in Atlanta, GA. This role will work primarily with PON content that will be displayed in-app in the right rail/help drawer.

Responsibilities:

• Write and maintain documentation for users


• Technical Writer will collaborate with product team members, engineers, and other cross-functional teams


• Test and research Mailchimp's new app features


• As a Technical Writer, you will conduct content audits and help maintain existing help content


• Identify user needs using data and feedback

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4+ years of experience as an instructional and/or technical writer, copywriter, or related position; Strong editorial background a plus


• Experience with content planning, editorial procedures, and evaluation


• Experience prioritizing, starting, and managing projects independently


• Experience working within product teams or domains and bringing up concerns in a group setting as needed


• Comfortable working with proprietary software or tools


• Tools: WordPress, Content Management System


• You are a skilled, empathetic technical writer who can research and interpret complex concepts


• You are driven to problem solve and care deeply about helping others and providing a great customer experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
