Job Description:

HunaTek is seeking a Cloud Solution Architect to join our team. Essential Job Functions:

• Provide subject matter expertise for cloud services, especially Microsoft Azure, but AWS and VMWare technology (for hybrid cloud) too.
• Directly responsible for infrastructure and automation using Azure DevOps for CI/CD
• Working closely with the engineering and operations team in SAFe and Scrum agile processes and fosters DevOps culture.
• Analyze systems performance to identify potential opportunities for improvement in virtualized environments, hardware infrastructure, backup, archive systems, data storage environment, and cloud environment systems and services.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve instance, software, network, and other service-related cloud issues.
• Work with third-party cloud vendors to obtain security assessments and maintain security using continuous monitoring software tools to reduce risk and vulnerabilities to the infrastructure.
• Create and maintain complete technical and operational documentation.
• Identify incidents for review and participates in related Root Cause Analyses for Critical and High Incidents.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

• Excellent understanding of system and network architecture in the cloud and able to manage multiple resources in support of EA cloud efforts.
• Demonstrate significant experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and services, IAM roles, scripting in PowerShell and DSC, and Bicep and ARM templates
• In-depth understanding and knowledge of various cloud service models to include IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS and supporting deployment models, including Private, Public, and Hybrid cloud.
• Must possess hands-on technology knowledge and recognized expertise in public and hybrid-cloud tools and technologies covering automated provisioning and configuration management, particularly using Azure DevOps.
• Requires an active Top Secret security clearance
• Requires a bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar technical discipline
• Requires a minimum of 15+ years' experience in system engineering and administration in a large Federal enterprise environment, including 5+ years system administration experience in Microsoft Azure cloud, DoS experience preferred.
• Requires Azure Administration Associate certification. Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred.
