The essential functions of the Project Manager will be:

  • Meets and coordinates with clients and customers regularly.
  • Oversees the development of work plans and reports for the purpose of sampling, analyzing, and reporting concentrations of various contaminants and/or geochemical indicators in different media.
  • Oversees and delegates technical tasks such as document preparation for various types of clients and ensures compliance with applicable standards for quality.
  • Oversees planning, execution, and completion of projects with strict adherence to schedule and budget.
  • Plans and directs environmental field efforts.
  • Manages projects in accordance with the corporate and contract health and safety requirements.
  • Spearheads business development and proposal tasks, including efforts to acquire new clients/programs.
  • Collaborates with a diverse team of subject matter experts to execute environmental projects for various federal and commercial clients

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science, engineering, geology or related field and at least 8 years of experience performing management-related duties.
  • Knowledge of and experience with regulatory compliance, agency coordination, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning required.
  • Experience in AK required.
  • Experience is desired in several of the following areas: ADEC Contaminated Sites, ADEC Solid Waste, CERCLA, and RCRA.
  • Experience collaborating with other subject matter experts in a project team setting
