(Contingent upon available funding): Commensurate with education and experience Work Schedule: tba Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: Tenure or Clinical Track faculty position in Anesthesiology within the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, Center for Veterinary Health Sciences at Oklahoma State University.


Academic Rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.


Responsibilities include clinical instructional service and classroom instruction for veterinary students, support of house officer training programs, and scholarly work.Exposure to animal diseases that may be transmitted to humans. Subject to animal scratches or bites. Exposure to chemicals and pharmaceuticals used in treatment of animals, medical waste, and animal feces, urine, blood, and vomit. Loud noises related to and large animal routine.


Must comply with mandatory rabies pre-exposure vaccine program. Special Instructions to Applicants Please submit a letter of intent with statement of professional goals, CV, and names/contact information for three references. Education & Experience Position Qualifications:


Minimum Qualifications:


D.V.M. or Comparable veterinary degree


Residency training in Anesthesiology


Board certified in ACVAA (Anesthesiology)


Candidates qualified to take the ACVAA certification examination will also be considered.


Eligibility for faculty license in Oklahoma is required.



Preferred Qualifications:


Applicants must be able to obtain a faculty license from the Oklahoma Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners.
