The Clinical Assistant Professor of Cardiac Electrophysiology position will practice in an Endocrinology serviceline clinic.  This position is actively involved in patient care andteaching medical students and residents in the ambulatory clinics, as well asthe hospital surgery/inpatient service. Appropriate effort and activity in clinical research and service willalso be necessary as well as a clinical record of sufficient depth to qualifyfor faculty appointment at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor.  The position will work with existing withOSU-CHS administration to develop an operational practice. This position may besplit between OSU-CHS and the US Department of Veteran's Affairs (VA).



Environmental Hazards:

Possible exposure to hazardous material, hot and cold, blood borne pathogens.



Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, carry push, and pull 20 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations.  Sufficient to carry out specificjob functions of a CardiacElectrophysiologist. -D.O., M.D. Field of Study: Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship
-Eligibility for licensure in the state of Oklahoma
-Board certification by the AOA or ABMS, or board eligibility
-Devoted interest in education

Skills, Proficiencies and Knowledge: 
Knowledge of allareas related to clinic workflow. The position requires strong analyticalskills, advanced multi-tasking skills, and advanced problem-solving skills.Computer skills are needed to operate electronic medical records. Goodcommunication and leadership skills are a positive.  Interpersonal skills are required to interacteffectively with faculty, students, clients and providers.
