Job Description:

Primary Purpose of the Role

The Business Analyst is responsible for coordinating and performing all activities related to pricing, price changes and maintenance, contract creation and maintenance, and customer profitability and analysis for assigned channels within HGI.

Essential job Duties

• Perform FP&A functions including pricing and contract requests, changes and maintenance, price quotes for new and existing business, customer profitability and analysis.

• Speak with authority to the organization's profit and loss models and the components within, and serve as a champion for positive growth.

• Determine, analyze and communicate profitability for new and existing business, identify efficiencies, maintain system pricing, manage price changes.

• Utilize cost models and review projected costs to make informed decisions.

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Develop and maintain working relationship with cross-functional team across HGI.

• Provide support to other pricing functions and for other Finance, Marketing, and Sales personnel.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Professional written and spoken communication.

• Attention to detail with strong analytical and mathematic skills.

• Ability to make recommendations and influence others after analyzing and interpreting data.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines.

• Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel.

• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Access.

• Ability to contribute to a cross-functional team.

• Knowledge of an integrated ERP system and sales reporting database helpful.
• Preferred Bachelors degree - Accounting, Finance, Math or related field
