(Contingent upon available funding):Commensurate with education and experience Work Schedule:Work schedule to be determined by supervisor. Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary:Develop an aggressive Brighter Future program to prepare youth 9 - 12th grade for college and career readiness. The program will be research-based, emphasizing program design, implementation, and evaluation. Programs should be relevant, welcoming, and inclusive for all audiences.
Build Oklahoma 4-H Brighter Future Clubs through marketing and interactions with Extension Educators, 4-H Volunteers, and pre-service teachers in every county.
Develop both online and hands-on Brighter Future Curriculum to prepare students for a successful college and career transition.
Implement educational activities to build positive relationships between Brighter Future families and OSU. Assist families with campus transition by helping to answer basic questions or concerns and connecting families with the correct support on campus.
Deliver Brighter Future lessons to youth and in-service education to county Extension educators and club leaders across the state.
Work as a liaison between Oklahoma 4-H and OSU Student Affairs, Admissions and Enrollment Management.

Required: Master's in education, youth development, leadership or related field with at least one degree in education, youth development, leadership or related field


Five (5) or more years of successful professional work experience
Proven leadership and program development experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to relate effectively with county and state staff and lay leaders.
Demonstrated organizational development and management skills; knowledge of and the ability to utilize electronic communications and computer technology skills for communication and program management.
Willingness to work within a flexible time frame, which may include evenings and weekends, and travel throughout the district, state, and occasionally out of state.
Valid driver's license. Reliable transportation for travel connected with official duties. Reimbursement for official travel.
