Job Title:ePortfolio SpecialistDepartment:Undergraduate Education | Academic Enrichment

Reporting to the Office of Academic Enrichment's (OAE) High-Impact Practice Expert, the OAE ePortfolio Specialist leads ongoing ePortfolio activity in OAE, independently designs and implements expanding efforts to coordinate and foster reflective practice across OAE programs that annually reach 10,000+ undergraduate students. Together with leaders for the Honors and Scholars programs, leads in the design and management of the Honors & Scholars ePortfolio Program.


This role also supports professional development for instructors in teaching reflective practice by providing consultation and programming support.



Key duties:




  • Independently manage ePortfolio program implementation and maintenance for OAE populations, including creating, maintaining, and updating content and student data in the ePortfolio platform (PebblePad/Atlas).




  • Support instructors, mentors, advisors, and student peer-mentors/ambassadors on using ePortfolio as a tool for reflective practice and synthesizing learning, including facilitating workshops and learning communities.




  • In collaboration with the OAE communication specialist, provide and maintain ePortfolio related content for website, newsletters, social media, and other communication needs.




  • Collaborate with the Undergraduate Education office, the Office of Technology and DigitaI Innovation, The Drake Institute, and others to develop learning content and evaluation structures for ePortfolio pedagogy that cuts across all undergraduate students.




  • Serve as OAE liaison with campus units and work groups to promote the use of ePortfolio pedagogy by assisting with best practices, planning, workshops, information sessions, etc.




  • Collaborate with OAE staff in doing ePortfolio research and assessment.




  • Other duties as assigned.






Required Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree, 4 years professional experience in a higher education institution, demonstrating a thorough understanding of student instruction, online learning platforms, and a documented ability to independently execute tasks and projects of large scope




Desired Education/Experience: Master's degree, experience in educational development/teaching support, course material development, ability to work across academic content areas, experience implementing program assessment.

Additional Information:


The targeted hiring range for this position is $49,800 - $57,000. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
