Slalom's Intern Experience offers students the opportunity to explore a career in consulting. Our 10-week program provides interns the chance to gain hands-on experience working as part of a client-facing project team. The learning experience continues through a combination of classroom-based training, self-guided learnings, and the ability to network with our market management team. Students are also encouraged to participate in company events, community groups, and other internal initiatives during their summer with us.
Who You'll Work With
Slalom's Software Solutions technologists are disrupting the market and bringing to life the art of the possible for our clients. We have passion for building strategies, solutions and creative products to help our clients solve their most complex and interesting business problems. We surround our technologists with interesting tasks, innovative minds and emerging technologies. Our Seattle Software Solutions practice is looking for software engineering interns who are excited about working on a variety of unique tasks. Contribute to software-based initiatives in a developer capacity
Keenly participate in agile development projects

What You'll Bring
Students working towards a Masters in Computer Science, Engineering or related degree.
Students who will be entering the workforce full time within 1 year of this internship program with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher
Software engineering skills and experience with some of the following technologies: Java, .NET, Node.js, Python, Angular, React, AWS, Azure, GCP, SQL or mobile
Knowledge of common data structures and algorithms
Strong problem-solving and software triage skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment
Strong critical and interpersonal communication skills

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the target hourly pay is $35 per hour. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
