SHIFT: 7:00AM - 3:30PM (Flexible)


SUMMARY:


This multifaceted position combines responsibilities in cost accounting and payroll management. The primary payroll duties involve overseeing daily and weekly time and attendance activities, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, processing payroll-related data in SAP Payroll, and addressing team members' inquiries. In the realm of cost accounting, the role will handle SAP/COUPA receiving for outgoing shipments, generate daily/weekly reports for upper management and corporate, aid in plant variance analysis and inventory processes, and provide support for self-audits of critical operations. Additionally, the position involves processes including ordering of various supplies, scheduling of production, and supporting HR initiatives within the plant. Adaptability to emerging duties and projects is essential.


REQUIREMENTS:


Education:


High school diploma or equivalent.


Experience:


2+ years of office experience.


Computer Skills:


Basic computer skills including generating simple spreadsheets; Microsoft Office; knowledge of Tyson Systems SAP preferred.


Communication Skills:


Must possess excellent written and verbal communication.


Special Skills:


Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; good attendance and safety record; ability to work with little supervision; detail oriented; knowledge of multiple business units accounting requirements and general ledger coding.
