The Assembler at Johnson Controls is responsible for assembling parts to specification. This role involves identifying the correct parts using specification sheets and blueprints, assembling parts according to specifications, installing hardware and purchased components, insulating panels as per specifications, completing necessary paperwork, and utilizing various tools such as a rivet gun, air gun, knife, welding tools, and other hand tools. The Assembler also assists colleagues in their duties and is involved in transporting shipments using a bridge crane or hoist from the shipping and receiving platform to storage or work areas.
