Job Description:

Manage all aspects of the aquatic, adult & youth sports, fitness and program departments in accordance with the YMCA mission, goals and policies of the association.

Position requires a BS/BA degree in Health/Phys Ed, Recreation, or related field.

Director must possess good communication skills, enjoy working with people, background in adult/youth sports development, ability to plan and market new programs, possess good organizational skills. oversee youth sports expansion and adult fitness programs and assessments, be able to hire, train, supervise staff/volunteers working in their program areas, have the knowledge to write/administer exercise/health education programs for youth through adults.

Teach group exercise. Possess current Lifeguard Certification or acquire within 6 months of being employed, American Red Cross CPR/First Aid, PA Child Abuse Clearance & PA Police Criminal Background Check. Understand basic concepts & working with a volunteer led organization.
