Under general supervision of the Director, the Systems Analyst consults with users, analyzes, tests and modifies computer systems and programs. Meets and coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to establish project scope, system goals, and requirements. Meets and coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to establish project scope, system goals, and requirements
Develops, analyzes, prioritizes, and organizes requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow
Translates highly technical specifications into clear non-technical requirements
Manages the set-up and configuration of systems
Defines and coordinates the execution of testing procedures, and develops test cases to serve the overall quality assurance process
Provides documentation of all processes and training as needed
Develops and implements maintenance procedures, monitors systems health, gathers system statistics, and troubleshoots reported errors and alarms
Performs design, implementation, and upgrades of information systems to meet the business and user needs
Implements best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance
Deploys, maintains, and troubleshoots core business applications, including application servers, associated hardware, endpoints, and databases
Provides regularly scheduled on-call support as part of the larger team support schedule
Responds to incoming questions in a timely manner. Researches questions and issues and resolves each interaction with customer satisfaction
Attends scheduled meetings and in-services as required for technical and communication training and staying up-to-date with company policies and procedures
Utilizes good judgment and works competently in stressful situations, always treating the customer with respect and dignity

Maintains a safe work environment and reports safety concerns appropriately
Performs all other related duties as required and assigned
Requirements Education: High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred.
Experience: Four years of experience in information technology and systems analysis required.
License/Certifications: None required.
Required Skills: Strong computer, hardware, software, and analytical skills. Working knowledge of a wide variety of programming languages. Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions. Strong understanding and knowledge of the principles associated with database maintenance and administration..
