RSDC is looking for an exceptional Software Developer / Data Scientist support the production of cognitive AI platforms. As the client's solution provider, the solutions engineer aligns the production tactics to cognitive client use cases by conducting technical activities. She/he delivers on value by following our standard delivery life cycle designed to exceed client goals. The successful candidate will have a hands-on programming background and stakeholder management experience. This is both a technical and client facing business role - that requires knowledge of the technical stacks listed below.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and data needs
Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful patterns and insights
Utilize advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to build predictive models
Develop and implement data-driven solutions to address specific business challenges
Create data visualizations and reports to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders
Explore and implement natural language processing (NLP) solutions using GPT and other language models
Continuously optimize and improve existing data analytics processes and models
Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members on data science best practices
Collaborate with software engineers and data engineers to deploy data science solutions into production
Requirements
US Citizenship is required (DoD requirement)
SECRET Clearance is required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field ( Applied Math or Science, Statistics, Analytics, etc)
5+ years of related work experience
Must have a strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Groovy for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and machine learning model development
Preferred experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms (AWS)
Preferred experience and familiarity with GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) and other NLP models for text analysis and language generation
