We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a Radiology Technologist at NCG Associates, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions using advanced imaging equipment.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, according to established protocols and physician orders
Position patients and utilize appropriate radiation safety measures to ensure accurate and high-quality images
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to evaluate and interpret imaging results
Maintain all imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety standards are met
Accurately document patient information and imaging results in electronic medical records
Educate and reassure patients about the imaging procedures and answer any questions or concerns they may have
Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
Stay up-to-date with advancements in radiology technology and participate in continuing education program
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in radiology technology or a related field
Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
State licensure as a Radiology Technologist
Proven experience working in a radiology department or medical imaging center
Excellent knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and techniques
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality images
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other imaging software
Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends
Experience Required: Orthopedic experience; AGFA and Siemens experience preferred Minimum two years radiology experience, Level I experience, travel experience
