Job Description:

Responsibilities and Duties

Creative Performance

Experienced Leadership:
  • 6+ years as a leader in the Performance Marketing space, preferably in direct response eCommerce CPG or a performance marketing agency.

Strategic Optimization:
  • Optimize creative across all marketing channels using data and analytics, ensuring improvements while staying true to the brand identity.

Metrics-Driven Collaboration:
  • Work closely with acquisition and marketing teams, leveraging a deep understanding of direct response metrics to form insights and innovate on creative ideas.

Marketing-Driven Creativity:
  • Implement a marketing-driven approach in creative strategy, optimizing for impactful results, such as increased sales and high click-through rates on ads.

Collaborative Solutions:
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Strategy team to track campaign performance, derive learnings, and develop creative solutions for continuous improvement in sales and click-through rates.

Process & People Leadership

Motivational Leadership:
  • Motivate and lead a team of creative strategists and video editors with empathy, partnering effectively with designers and copywriters.

Process Enhancement:
  • Maintain and improve existing processes, managing resourcing and project deliverables, and meeting tight deadlines.

Effective Communication:
  • Communicate effectively to build strong relationships and trust within internal teams, fostering an environment for creating the best work possible.

Qualifications and Skills

Work Experience:

Performance Marketing Expertise:
  • Extensive experience in Performance Marketing with direct response eCommerce background.

Analytical Acumen:
  • Strong understanding of paid media, performance analytics, and A/B testing.

Growth Marketer Mindset:
  • Possess a growth marketer mindset, demonstrating experience in creative optimizations across various platforms, including paid ads, email, ecommerce, and omnichannel.

Brand Alignment:
  • Ability to align with brand guidelines and translate them into a cohesive, consistent, and relatable voice.

Strategic Thinker:
  • Strong conceptual thinker with a passion for developing brand narratives, engaging content, and storytelling with a results-oriented approach.

Leadership Experience:
  • Over 3 years in leadership, leading creative teams to motivate and inspire.

Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of equivalent work experience.

Additional Preferred Experience and Skills:

Bonus Experience:
  • Startup and/or e-commerce experience is a bonus.

Writing Expertise:
  • Writing experience within female-empowered, women-focused industries.

Analytics Proficiency:
  • Knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics; basic Excel is a plus.

Passion for Marketing:
  • Passion for e-commerce, consumer retail, and/or digital marketing is a plus.
