Job Title: Associate Merchandising Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a versatile and highly motivated Associate Merchandising Manager to join our team. This multifaceted position requires a dynamic professional who can seamlessly integrate product development expertise, B2B/B2C sales acumen, and effective project management skills. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving US business growth for Hybe artists' merchandise through innovative product offerings, strategic partnerships, and engaging retail experiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners, including headquarters in Korea, to drive Hybe artists' merchandising strategy, focusing on US business growth across B2B, B2C, and online channels.
  • Assist in the end-to-end product development process, from conceptualizing to production and distribution, ensuring alignment with artists' identity, company vision, and market demand.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and contracts, and oversee quality control measures.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute retail activations, pop-up events, and tour venue sales events to showcase merchandise offerings and foster meaningful engagement with fans.
  • Analyze event performance metrics and attendee feedback to evaluate effectiveness and inform future retail activation strategies and improvements.
  • Identify potential business partners to drive revenue growth and expand market reach.
  • Own the creation and maintenance of sales orders, outbound deliveries, and invoice processing, ensuring streamlined sales operations in our ERP system (SAP).
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall goals of the organization.
  • Stay abreast of trends in the music and entertainment business to contribute insights that inform future strategies.

Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in both Korean and English required (oral & written).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Merchandising, Product Development, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant industry (Music & Entertainment preferred).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Familiarity with Supply Chain Systems; proficiency in SAP ERP software is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Understanding of the fandom business in the Music and Entertainment industry
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
