As an IT Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in planning, organizing, and implementing technical projects for a mid-size private organization supporting mostly Federal Government Agencies. Your expertise will drive successful project execution, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the desired outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Setting Project Goals: Define clear project objectives and create plans to achieve them.
Budgeting and Resource Management: Maintain project timeframes, estimate budgets, and manage resources (including computer equipment and personnel).
Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate project team members, ensuring individual responsibilities are well-defined.
Implementing IT Strategies: Develop and execute strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments for projects to proactively address potential challenges.
Progress Reporting: Regularly present project progress and results to stakeholders.
Prepare documents such as: security artifacts, authorization package, risk determination and risk acceptance documents, authorization decision documentation.
Qualifications:
Experience: Ten (10) plus years of full-time professional project management experience, including hands-on involvement in large, enterprise-wide projects, software development, and web technologies.
Supervisory/Management Experience: Minimum of three years of supervisory and/or management experience.
Security Clearance: Top secret clearance is required.
