Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled CT/Radiologic Technologist to join our team for night shift duties. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing procedures in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and preferably have experience in one or more additional modalities such as General Radiology, Angio/Cath Lab, and Computed Tomography (CT). This role requires prior CT experience in an acute care setting. Responsibilities include conducting X-rays, CT scans, and working rotating weekends.
Qualifications:
Equivalent experience will be considered in place of a formal degree or diploma.
Associate's degree in Health Science or equivalent education/experience.
Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
Certification & Licensure:
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) - Radiography.
OR ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists) - Certified MRI Technologist.
OR CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist).
BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Experience:
Two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist performing general diagnostic imaging.
Experience in one or more of the following modalities: Angio/Cath Lab, Computed Tomography, or Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
Experience in an acute care hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform procedures in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and other modalities as required.
Conduct X-rays and CT scans with accuracy and efficiency.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
Work night shifts and fulfill rotating weekend obligations.
Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
Document procedures accurately and maintain precise patient records.
Provide mentorship and support to colleagues as needed.
Stay informed about advancements in radiology technology and procedures.
Uphold professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
