Monday - Friday 8 am - 4 pm

Position summary: • Customer Service Representative handling incoming sales online orders for both retail and wholesale customers • Corresponding with customers & sales team in a fast paced environment • Responsibility for daily aspects of the shipping department, customer inquiries, developing operational priority lists, and generating freight quotes • Liaison between operations and sales teams • Some inside sales and supporting the Sales Force.
Responsibilities: • Promptly responds to telephone and e-mail requests for information from current customers. • Provides information and assistance to customers regarding ordering, pricing, delivery, etc. Responds to routine questions; defers more complicated technical/applications issues to other personnel and coordinates answers with customers in a timely and accurate manner. • Gathers and prepares the necessary information needed for freight quotations and provides verbal and written quotations to current customers (utilizing computerized price lists or special instructions). • Monitors the status of customer orders and expected shipping dates, and discusses/resolves any production-related difficulties that may negatively impact the organization's ability to effectively serve its customers. • Process customer credit card for payment • Complies with company, department and section policies & procedures as applicable. • Keeps supervisor informed of job related problems and other information related to work activity. • Excellent customer service • Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills • Efficient, willing and able to handle a large volume of work
Minimum Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Computer experience using word processing, database, & spreadsheets.
