This position supports a research team developing and evaluating novel plant breeding methods. With guidance from a supervisor, the successful candidate will conduct research activities to provide greenhouse, molecular biology and or plant tissue culture support. This person will coordinate with various members of the team to assist with multiple efforts.
Responsibilities: • Assist with molecular biology tasks, as needed • Work in and maintain a safe work environment; includes using aseptic, sterile techniques • Document experimental details with ability to analyze data and interpret results • Recording pertinent information in proprietary and standard software applications
