Summary: Growing local company is looking for entry to mid-level light industrial production support staff.
Standard Shift Hours: Monday-Friday - 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; occasional extended hours and/or weekends (very rare)
Job Description:
Assist machine operators and production team in the manufacture of vitamin E and related products.
Perform chemical handling.
Maintain warehouse inventory.
Follow cGMP and Safety regulations. Conduct all job tasks in a safe and proper manner, complying with regulations related to occupational safety, health and environment, particularly as applied in a nutritional supplement manufacturing environment.
Previous experience operating material handling equipment would be a plus.
Ability to drive power equipment safely and become certified in forklift operation (training provided).
Comfortable working near moving mechanical parts, using heavy equipment and lab instrumentation.
Ability to interact with co-workers in a productive, and cooperative manner encouraging teamwork, as well as the ability to work independently with careful attention to detail.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Experienced candidates should be aware of safe chemical handling practices and familiar with good manufacturing practices (GMP).
Candidates should have at least 1-3 years of experience operating industrial equipment, preferably in a liquid chemical process facility or vitamin/food-related facility.
Prior experience should include hands-on problem identification and resolution.
Demonstrated experience and/or ability monitoring and controlling flow-rates, temperature, and pressure process parameters are critical for this production position.
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to perform work at various heights
May require a valid driver's license
Dependable transportation to and from the workplace
Ability to follow instructions and procedures
