Our client, a leader in the consumer-packaged goods industry is looking to elevate their supply chain operations and are actively seeking a dynamic Inventory Planner to join their team.
As an integral part of our client's team, the Inventory Planner will contribute to the fine-tuning of the supply chain, ensuring seamless operations and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate has a strategic mindset, exceptional organizational abilities and a proven track record of collaborative success in cross-functional teams.
Inventory Planner Responsibilities:
Utilize advanced forecasting tools and historical data to predict product demand accurately
Devise and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce excess stock and minimize carrying costs
Foster strong collaboration with procurement, production and sales teams to align inventory with demand forecasts
Place timely and effective purchase orders with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels
Conduct in-depth analysis of inventory data, identifying trends, forecast accuracy and areas for enhancement
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of inventory planning processes
Inventory Planner Requirements:
2+ years of hands-on experience in inventory planning or a related role
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management or a relevant field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in cutting-edge data analysis tools
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse departments
Exceptional organizational abilities, managing multiple tasks with precision
Proficiency in state-of-the-art inventory management software; familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous
